Job Summary
The Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) Medical Center in Katy, Texas, is on the lookout for a skilled Pediatric OR Surgical Technologist II to join their dedicated operating room team. This role involves managing surgical instruments and providing essential patient care as needed under the direction of the circulating nurse.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for various surgical procedures.
- Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment.
- Assist the surgical team by handing instruments and supplies as required.
- Perform patient care duties following instructions from the circulating nurse.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a surgical tech role, preferably in a pediatric setting.
- Fundamental knowledge of operating room procedures and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and to follow directions accurately.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist might be preferred or required.
