Job Summary
The Health and Wellness Director oversees the everyday healthcare operations, focusing on the management of nursing personnel and ensuring that the care requirements of residents are diligently fulfilled. This role also involves maintaining comprehensive resident records, developing service plans, and collaborating with medical professionals and family members to coordinate care effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Maintain and update resident healthcare records and charts.
- Initiate and oversee the development of individual service plans.
- Coordinate care strategies with physicians and involve family members in the care process.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school with a current LPN license.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a nurse supervisory position.
- At least two years of experience in geriatric nursing or a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
