Job Summary
The Attendant Caregiver is responsible for providing essential care and assistance to individuals in need. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for clients by ensuring their daily activities and personal needs are met in a supportive and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, helping them get to appointments or social activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the clients’ living space.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
