The Nursing Assistant is responsible for delivering patient care and executing assigned nursing tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. They must demonstrate competence in fundamental nursing skills as well as in specific clinical procedures relevant to their unit. Applicants are required to hold a Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License at the time of hire. Additionally, a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
