Position Overview
The Data Integrity Specialist will play a vital role in assisting the organization with an important database cleanup project. This part-time, onsite position is perfect for individuals with a strong background in data entry, administrative duties, and CRM/database systems who thrive in an independent and flexible work atmosphere. The main responsibility in this position is to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of donor and organizational data through extensive data entry and verification processes. Approximately 99% of the role will be dedicated to cleansing the organization’s CRM database.
Data Integrity Specialist Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume data entry tasks with a focus on accuracy.
- Examine, validate, and modify numerous records within the organization’s CRM database.
- Detect and rectify duplicates, incomplete, or incorrect data.
- Ensure the integrity and uniformity of donor records.
- Leverage Microsoft Excel to manage, review, and confirm information.
- Uphold confidentiality while handling sensitive donor data.
- Work autonomously to efficiently execute assigned data cleanup tasks.
- Support additional data integrity projects as required.
Data Integrity Specialist Preferred Qualifications
- Over 1 year of relevant experience in data entry, administrative support, data integrity, or a similar field.
- Proven experience with CRM or database management systems is mandatory.
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge is highly desirable; familiarity with similar donor or fundraising CRM platforms will be considered.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and handling large datasets.
- Experience in database cleanup, record validation, and enhancing data quality initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume data entry with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong skills in organization, time management, and prioritizing tasks.
- Capacity to pinpoint and resolve data inconsistencies while preserving data integrity.
- Self-driven individual with the capability to work independently and manage assigned tasks with little supervision.
- Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
