Job Summary
The Piping Designer plays a crucial role in shaping plant layouts and executing piping designs for a range of energy-related projects. This includes engaging in conceptual studies, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), and detailed design phases. The designer is tasked with overseeing project expenses, timelines, and material quantity estimates while ensuring effective collaboration with other engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout piping systems for energy projects, including conceptual, FEED, and detailed design stages.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and material take-off responsibilities.
- Coordinate with various engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project development.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required.
- A minimum of 2 to 10 years of experience in piping design, modeling, and drafting.
- Expertise in engineering design software, particularly Aveva E3D.
- Strong communication skills in a professional setting.
