Job Summary
The Inventory Control Associate plays a key role in ensuring accurate inventory management and maintenance of stock levels. This position involves performing regular stock audits, adjusting inventory discrepancies, and collaborating with various departments to optimize inventory processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inventory audits to verify stock levels and assess accuracy.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline inventory management.
- Maintain organized records of inventory metrics and performance indicators.
- Assist in the development of inventory control policies and procedures.
- Support the implementation of inventory management software and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in supply chain management is preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
