The Patient Care Specialist is responsible for overseeing patient admissions, confirming insurance details, and executing standard clinical procedures, including the gathering of vital signs and conducting blood draws. In addition, they offer patient education, assist healthcare providers during examinations, and ensure the accurate maintenance of electronic health records. Applicants should possess 2-4 years of experience in a clinical setting and hold a high school diploma or GED. A Medical Assistant certification is preferred, alongside excellent customer service and computer proficiency skills.
