Job description
The Patient Service Representative plays a key role in direct patient engagement, which encompasses registration, scheduling appointments, and collecting payments at the point of service. Additionally, this role involves handling document collection, verifying insurance, and overseeing the complete check-in and check-out procedures within the Plastic Surgery department. Applicants should exhibit strong computer skills, solid mathematical capabilities, and exceptional customer service proficiency. Although not mandatory, candidates with a year of experience in a medical or healthcare setting are preferred, as well as familiarity with medical terminology and insurance billing processes.
