The Permanency Specialist is responsible for overseeing a caseload of children in Child Protective Services (CPS) conservatorship, focusing on evaluating safety and determining appropriate placement options to achieve permanency objectives. This role involves collaboration with both public and private organizations, leading case planning meetings, and offering crisis intervention and assistance to families and caregivers. Applicants should have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Child Welfare or a related discipline, along with pertinent work experience. Additionally, a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and the capacity to travel up to 95% of the workweek are essential requirements.
