Job Summary
The Procurement Analyst plays a crucial role in streamlining purchasing processes, analyzing procurement data, and supporting efficient supply chain management. This position focuses on enhancing cost-effectiveness and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services to meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with departments to understand purchasing needs and provide support in sourcing supplies.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of requests for proposals (RFPs) and bids.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain analysis.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
