Project Manager – Support Launch
Lisle, IL (Onsite)
$50–$54/hour
Position Overview
The **Project Manager – Support Launch** will assist the Launch Director in orchestrating cross-functional efforts for a large-scale product introduction. This position is vital for overseeing project execution across various workstreams, ensuring that business functions are synchronized, monitoring launch preparedness, and providing leadership with insightful project updates. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-moving setting, adeptly handles multiple priorities, and possesses a background in managing intricate commercial product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Launch Director in facilitating cross-functional collaboration across diverse workstreams and sub-workstreams.
- Convert workstream outcomes into straightforward, actionable project plans and timelines.
- Organize and lead peer reviews, integration workshops, and cross-disciplinary meetings to ensure cohesiveness and effective execution.
- Monitor launch readiness KPIs and keep project scorecards up to date.
- Employ project management tools (preferably Adobe Workfront) to oversee project deliverables, timelines, and progress tracking.
- Work collaboratively with functional teams to track deliverables and offer insights for executive reporting and presentations.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and necessary timeline adjustments while keeping key stakeholders informed of changes.
- Provide administrative support for project activities during launches, including Q/VC builds and customer order requests, in collaboration with Engineering, PMO, and Sales Operations.
- Facilitate the successful implementation of launch milestones while being adaptable to shifting priorities and business demands.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management supporting cross-functional business efforts.
- Experience in overseeing complex product launches (non-engineering focused).
- Background in commercial operations, business operations, or product integration.
- Demonstrated capability to navigate ambiguity, handle changing priorities, and adapt to evolving timelines.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Adobe Workfront, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Strong skills in organization, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
