Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care within various healthcare settings. This role involves assessing patient health problems, planning and implementing appropriate nursing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive health outcomes and ensure the delivery of exceptional care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their health needs.
- Formulate, execute, and modify individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress, responding to any changes in their condition.
- Educate patients and families on health-related topics and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Participate in patient care meetings and contribute to quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
- A valid nursing license as a Registered Nurse.
- Completion of a recognized nursing program (ADN, BSN).
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and other healthcare technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining competency.
