Job description
The Scheduler plays a key role in organizing patient appointments for different medical services by handling orders through phone calls, faxes, and electronic platforms. This position also encompasses clerical responsibilities such as verifying insurance, registering patients, and ensuring the accuracy of electronic health records. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree in medical office administration being advantageous. A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or medical practice, particularly in registration or scheduling, is preferred.
