The Peer Recovery Coach plays a vital role in assisting members with their recovery objectives, fostering a culture focused on recovery. This position also involves delivering essential intervention and de-escalation support in situations related to mental health or substance use crises. Applicants should have completed a high school education or possess a GED, alongside holding a valid Peer Support Specialist certification. Furthermore, a minimum of one year of experience in the behavioral health field is necessary, along with a valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.
