**Job Title: Transplant Procurement Technician**
The Transplant Procurement Technician plays a vital role in aiding the cardiac organ recovery team by confirming organ compatibility and managing logistics in collaboration with transplant teams and Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs). This position involves assisting the recovery surgeon during surgical procedures and ensuring that organs are processed for transportation in compliance with stringent regulatory standards. Applicants should possess an associate degree in a relevant discipline or have completed a surgical technician program, accompanied by a minimum of one year of pertinent experience. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential, and candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of human anatomy and federal healthcare regulations.
