Job Summary
This internship offers an opportunity to engage in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, conduct floodplain studies, and prepare construction drawings specific to stormwater and green infrastructure projects. The candidate will be involved in various practical activities, including field investigations and data mapping with ArcGIS, while also contributing to the creation of technical deliverables for clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling efforts.
- Conduct studies related to floodplains.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings for stormwater and green infrastructure initiatives.
- Support field investigations to gather necessary data.
- Utilize ArcGIS for effective data mapping.
- Contribute to the production of technical documents for clients.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
