Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will deliver comprehensive operational assistance across the corporate office and retail locations, overseeing the complete associate lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations. This role encompasses managing HRIS operations, facilitating performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to local and state employment legislation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the recruitment process and onboarding of new associates.
- Manage employee relations and provide support throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Administer HRIS and maintain accurate employee records.
- Guide performance management processes to evaluate employee performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local and state employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, ideally in a multi-unit retail setting or a dynamic corporate atmosphere.
- Proficiency in HRIS and strong analytical capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of New York employment laws.
