Job Summary
The role involves delivering empathetic hospice and euthanasia services to pets and their families in a mobile environment. The position emphasizes quality care by managing a limited number of appointments each day to ensure that each pet and their family receive the attention they deserve.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospice and euthanasia services with a focus on compassion and respect.
- Conduct 3 to 4 appointments daily, ensuring a calm and unrushed atmosphere.
- Maintain high veterinary practice standards in a mobile setting.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to support them during difficult times.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree is required.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license is essential.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Passing a background check and motor vehicle record check is mandatory.
