Job Summary
The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing various aspects of construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing work schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Coordinate and monitor the work of subcontractors and laborers.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Handle any onsite issues that arise and implement solutions promptly.
- Communicate with project managers and stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.
- Ensure proper use of materials and maintain inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a construction supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or safety are preferred.
