Job Summary
The role of the Registered Nurse (RN) – OR at Down East Community Hospital, located in Machias, Maine, is focused on providing comprehensive nursing care in the operating room setting. This position is essential for ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures. The nurse will play a critical role in patient assessment and care coordination within an onsite travel nursing capacity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Perform thorough assessments of patients’ health conditions.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes swiftly.

Qualifications
