Job Summary
The role entails the development and management of an enterprise-wide strategy for data and AI governance, including the creation of an operational model and a robust control framework. The position is responsible for overseeing risk and compliance in collaboration with various teams including technology, cybersecurity, legal, audit, and business operations, while also guiding governance professionals and providing reports to executive committees.
Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment of a comprehensive enterprise data and AI governance strategy.
- Develop and implement the operating model and control environment for data and emerging technologies.
- Coordinate risk management and compliance activities with technology and business teams.
- Supervise governance professionals and report to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in technology risk management and controls experience.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing enterprise initiatives and cross-functional teams.
- Extensive knowledge in areas such as data and AI governance, risk management, privacy, compliance, and internal control systems.
- Advanced degree and relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
