Job Summary
The Quality Engineering Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Materials Review Board process at the site, ensuring the effective resolution, containment, and enhancement of nonconforming materials. This role involves the creation of inspection plans, training of personnel, and execution of internal audits to uphold superior quality standards throughout manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Materials Review Board process regarding nonconforming materials.
- Develop and implement inspection plans.
- Train staff on quality assurance practices and protocols.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure quality compliance.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or quality engineering role is required.
- Possession of an associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with CAD software.
- Familiarity with quality management system standards such as AS9100 or ISO9001.
