Job Summary
The role primarily involves the planning, coordination, and execution of social and recreational activities in collaboration with the Resident Engagement Director. This position also encompasses the organization of off-campus excursions and associated transportation logistics.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Resident Engagement Director to formulate and lead engaging social and recreational programs.
- Organize off-campus trips, including managing transportation arrangements.
- Prepare and disseminate information regarding activities to residents.
- Procure necessary supplies for events and activities.
- Communicate resident concerns to social services staff to ensure their wellbeing.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic tasks.
- Team-oriented, with a capability to coordinate event setups.
- Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Experience in geriatrics, recreation, or social administration is preferred; CNA certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
