Job Summary
The Senior Director is tasked with spearheading global IT strategic sourcing and procurement for Honeywell Aerospace, overseeing an expenditure exceeding $350M across software, hardware, and various services. This role entails negotiating intricate contracts, formulating supplier strategies, and enhancing cost efficiency while managing a team of commodity managers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and articulate the direction of global IT strategic sourcing and procurement activities.
- Negotiate complex agreements to secure optimal terms and conditions.
- Develop and implement innovative supplier strategies to achieve procurement objectives.
- Drive cost productivity initiatives to enhance overall financial performance.
- Manage and mentor a team of commodity managers to ensure effective execution of sourcing strategies.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8-10 years of diverse experience in strategic sourcing and IT categories.
- Extensive knowledge in managing relationships with technology partners and handling complex software agreements.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
