Job Summary
This role involves providing support to technologists during patient intake, preparation, and various imaging procedures. The assistant aids in the setup of the imaging room and helps coordinate schedules while organizing and preparing patient records and previous examinations. In addition, responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization within imaging, patient, and staff areas, as well as assisting with other tasks as requested by team members.
Responsibilities
- Support technologists with patient intake and preparation.
- Assist during procedures and in the setup of the imaging room.
- Coordinate schedules for patient appointments.
- Organize and prepare patient records and prior imaging exams.
- Maintain cleanliness and inventory in imaging and patient areas.
- Provide assistance to different teams by fulfilling additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16 years.
- At least one year of experience as a Technologist Assistant I.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Current enrollment in a Radiologic Technologist program is a plus.
