The Field Integration Technician plays a crucial role in the telecommunications sector, focusing on the installation, configuration, and integration of advanced 5G technology. This position entails removing outdated hardware from various telecommunication locations and collaborating with integration engineers to achieve seamless network performance through thorough call testing.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure new 5G equipment at telecommunications sites.
- Decommission and safely remove old hardware.
- Work closely with integration engineers to ensure effective task coordination.
- Perform call testing to verify optimal network performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in telecommunications site installation.
- Proficiency with Ericsson equipment is essential.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
- Ability to carry out physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders.
