Job Summary
The Quality Engineering Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Materials Review Board process at the site, addressing issues related to nonconforming materials, and ensuring effective resolution and containment strategies are implemented. This role also involves creating inspection protocols, conducting training sessions for personnel, and performing internal audits to maintain adherence to quality regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the site Materials Review Board process.
- Address and resolve issues related to nonconforming materials.
- Develop and implement inspection plans.
- Train staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering.
- An associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with CAD software is essential.
- Familiarity with Quality Management System standards such as AS9100 or ISO9001.
