Job Summary
The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with delivering exceptional and compassionate nursing care across various hospital units, including the Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Step-Down units. This role emphasizes a commitment to patient well-being and safety through a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and needs efficiently.
- Administer medications in a timely manner.
- Work in partnership with the interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based and secure care.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a valid nursing license in Alabama.
- At least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification to be acquired within 6 months of employment.
