Job Summary
The role involves overseeing maintenance activities and staff at the Fostoria milling plant. This position is crucial for maintaining equipment functionality, ensuring safety protocols are followed, adhering to regulatory standards, and implementing strategic maintenance plans. The leader will also focus on employee development, particularly through apprenticeship programs, manage maintenance budgets and resources, and spearhead initiatives to enhance both productivity and reliability across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance operations and personnel at the Fostoria milling location.
- Ensure consistent equipment reliability and safe operational practices.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement maintenance planning strategies.
- Coordinate employee development and apprenticeship initiatives.
- Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively.
- Lead facility-wide initiatives aimed at improving productivity and reliability.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is essential.
- An associate degree in a relevant technical discipline is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in the food, feed, grain, or flour milling industry.
- A minimum of five years in progressive maintenance leadership roles.
- Strong capabilities in maintenance programs, CMMS, data analysis, and team leadership.
