Job Summary
The Home Health Aide is tasked with delivering essential personal care and support for daily living activities to patients within their residences. This role is crucial for ensuring patient safety and comfort while closely monitoring their health conditions and documenting any significant changes in their physical health or overall wellness.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Monitor and report on changes in patient health or physical conditions.
- Ensure the home environment remains safe and conducive to the patient’s well-being.
- Document relevant health observations and any updates regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Current state certification as a nurse assistant is required.
- Must hold a valid CPR certification.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or completion of an accredited training and competency program.
