Job Summary
The Clinical Care Associate plays a vital role in delivering nursing support and direct patient care to enhance comfort, ensure safety, and address individual needs. This position also encompasses various clerical tasks, such as managing patient documentation and accurately transcribing physician directives in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in providing direct patient care and support.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety while attending to personal care needs.
- Contribute to maintaining accurate patient charts and documentation.
- Transcribe orders from physicians effectively alongside other team members.
Qualifications
- A valid certification as a CNA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA is required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification is necessary.
- At least one year of experience in acute, direct patient care is mandatory.
