Job Summary
This position is accountable for managing the daily activities and workflow within the processing department, while also performing technical tasks related to the processing of both medical and non-medical supplies.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and workflow of the processing department.
- Function as a technician in the processing of various supplies.
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, and disinfecting of surgical devices.
- Oversee the assembly and sterilization of medical instruments and supplies utilized in patient care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification as a Registered Central Services Technician is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of experience in sterile processing or central services is necessary.
