Job Summary
The primary focus of this role is to manage the handling and organization of printed materials, including sheets, signatures, labels, and other items, ensuring they are appropriately moved from press equipment to designated locations such as pallets or storage areas.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve, inspect, and stack various printed materials originating from press equipment.
- Transport items to pallets, storage areas, or other specified workspaces.
- Maintain accurate records of material counts and manage the labeling and bundling of products.
- Assist with press make-ready tasks and proactively report any print defects found.
- Execute material documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with operating instructions while handling materials.
- Utilize hand trucks, carts, dollies, and other material-handling tools, adhering to warehouse procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to effectively move, count, arrange, and rotate materials around printing equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using various manual handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
