Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical equipment and items meet sterilization standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to facilitate smooth operations during procedures.
- Label and assess the needs of patients to deliver appropriate assistance and care.
- Adhere to fire safety protocols and other safety processes within the surgical environment.
- Support the execution of the Operating Room Technician (ORT) program initiatives.
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Surgical Technologist program.
- Eligibility for medical and dental benefits.
- Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist II is preferred.
- Understanding of sterilization processes and safety protocols in a surgical setting.
