Conflict Specialist

Cleveland, OH Conflicts Specialist Overview:
Our client is experiencing continued growth within their industry and seeks to expand their team by adding a new professional to the firm. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for attorneys and administrative staff regarding client intake and conflict-related inquiries
- Conduct conflict research using advanced search techniques and assist with the initial review and evaluation of search findings
- Review new matter submissions to confirm completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation prior to approval
- Maintain and update client and matter records to ensure data integrity across firm systems
- Process client and matter updates, including changes to existing records
- Collaborate regularly with legal and administrative teams to resolve intake issues and meet deadlines
- Support ongoing data quality initiatives and participate in process improvements as needed
- Perform additional administrative or operational tasks related to intake and conflicts as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with experience conducting database or records-based research
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
- Familiarity with conflicts, client intake, legal billing, or records management processes is a plus
- Experience with intake or conflicts software (e.g., enterprise legal or financial systems) highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
