The individual in this role will assess, diagnose, and manage urgent medical issues, which includes conducting procedures like laceration repairs and splinting. Responsibilities also involve requesting diagnostic tests, prescribing pharmaceuticals, and keeping precise patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Applicants should be graduates from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and possess a valid Kansas license. Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine is desirable.
