Job Summary
The Director of Health and Wellness is responsible for overseeing the provision of clinical care within an Assisted Living environment. This role involves ensuring that all regulatory standards are met and effectively managing the clinical budget for residents. The director will lead nursing staff, perform assessments of residents, and organize care conferences that involve families and various staff members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of clinical care for Assisted Living residents.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Manage the clinical budget effectively.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff in their daily activities.
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments.
- Coordinate care conferences with families and staff to discuss resident care plans.
Qualifications
- Must possess an active LPN, LVN, or RN license.
- Experience in managing clinical teams, preferably in a senior living or hospital setting.
- Proficient in using EMR/EHR systems.
- A valid driver’s license is required for the role.
