Job Summary
The role involves overseeing and upholding a secure and dependable IT infrastructure which includes servers, cloud services, networks, endpoints, Microsoft 365, and user accounts. This position focuses on providing advanced technical support, resolving incidents, ensuring security and recovery capabilities, documenting systems, and managing changes within the infrastructure, as well as liaising with vendors and handling IT assets.
Responsibilities
- Administer and sustain the IT infrastructure, focusing on security and reliability.
- Deliver technical and escalated support to resolve incidents.
- Ensure readiness for security and recovery processes.
- Document systems and processes adequately.
- Coordinate changes in infrastructure and manage vendor relationships.
- Oversee IT asset management.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least three years of experience in managing IT systems, networks, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Proficient knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, identity services, networking, and virtualization.
- Experience in endpoint management, backup processes, and cybersecurity.
- Possession of relevant Microsoft certifications is advantageous.
