Job Summary
The Field Service Technician is tasked with executing preventive maintenance, diagnostic analysis, and repair services for portable power generation units. This role involves identifying both mechanical and electrical issues, upholding service documentation, and delivering technical assistance to clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance on portable power generation units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
- Perform corrective repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records for equipment.
- Offer technical support and guidance to customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Technical certification or associate degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working with diesel engines and power generators.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
