Job Summary
The Endoscopy Technician plays a crucial role in supporting endoscopic procedures by preparing the necessary environment, handling equipment, and prioritizing the safety of patients. Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms for endoscopic interventions.
- Manage and monitor endoscopic equipment to ensure optimal function.
- Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols during procedures.
- Carry out the decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the department.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in the healthcare field.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Completion of an accredited Endoscopy Technician or sterile processing program is highly preferred.
