Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician II is instrumental in ensuring that all equipment and systems within the facility are maintained and repaired efficiently. This role supports overall operational excellence by carrying out routine maintenance and responding to technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on various types of equipment, including HVAC systems, pumps, and motors.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
