Job Summary
The Home Health Aide is responsible for delivering personal healthcare and supportive services to clients within their residences, all while working under the oversight of a registered nurse. This role is essential in promoting the well-being and comfort of clients through various forms of assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities.
- Manage nutritional needs by assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.
- Monitor and document patient status and progress regularly.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant, or completion of a related certification program within the last two years.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable, insured transportation.
- Current CPR certification is required.
