Job Summary
The Data Governance Manager is responsible for the leadership and advancement of an enterprise data governance initiative aligned with the Navy’s objectives. This role involves crafting strategies, establishing policies, and developing implementation roadmaps to enhance data governance throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maturation of the data governance program.
- Define and implement governance strategies and policies.
- Manage a team of specialists in data governance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment across the organization.
- Oversee data quality and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Active DoD SECRET clearance.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
