Job Summary
The position focuses on pre-visit preparations, standardized rooming procedures, and providing support to medical professionals during clinical tasks and procedures. A key aspect of this role is working alongside the provider to enhance patient comfort while ensuring that exam rooms adhere to infection control regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-visit planning and manage standard rooming practices.
- Assist medical providers with various procedures and clinical responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively with providers to promote patient comfort throughout their visit.
- Ensure that exam rooms are maintained in compliance with infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing program.
- A minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience.
- Possession of a valid Wisconsin license as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
