Job Summary
The primary focus of this position is to assist in the planning and execution of life enrichment initiatives, including daily activities, special events, and outings for residents. The role aims to foster resident engagement and ensure a vibrant community atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate daily enrichment programs and scheduled activities.
- Organize special events and resident outings.
- Encourage participation from residents in various activities.
- Support residents’ transportation needs for events and activities.
- Document resident engagement and activity participation.
- Maintain and organize activity areas and supply inventory.
- Communicate resident requirements and feedback to the Director of Life Enrichment.
Qualifications
- Must meet state and federal requirements applicable to the role.
- Effective communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to work independently while engaging residents, families, staff, and the public.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in social or recreational programming within health care or a related domain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Ability to fulfill the physical demands associated with the position.
