Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a critical role in the preparation and execution of surgical procedures within the operating room. This position is integral to ensuring that the surgical environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to high-quality patient care. Based in Denver, Colorado, this onsite role involves working closely with surgeons and other medical staff to provide the best possible support during operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
- Maintain a sterile field to ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.
- Help in the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate effective communication and teamwork during surgeries.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic operating room environment.
