The Echocardiographer conducts transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography, adhering to established professional guidelines. The role involves aiding in cardiac procedures and providing high-quality care to adult patients. Candidates should possess a two-year degree in Allied Health along with a 12-month program in ultrasound or cardiovascular technology accredited by CAAHEP. Certification as either an RDCS or RCS is mandatory, or it should be acquired within the first year of employment.
