Job Summary
We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in Cuttingsville, Vermont. This role is essential in providing comprehensive support during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients. The Surgical Technologist will work under the guidance of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections during surgeries.
- Support the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients undergoing operative procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses and surgeons to promote efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Completion of a surgical technologist program or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
