Job Summary
The Night Shift Multimodality Technologist specializes in performing X-ray and CT imaging procedures during nighttime hours. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality imaging services are available for patients requiring diagnostic assessments when standard operating hours have concluded. The technologist will work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of X-ray and CT scans in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to safety standards and maintaining equipment integrity.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide necessary instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and preparing reports as needed.
- Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology and best practices.
- Provide exceptional patient care and support during imaging processes.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with additional credentials in CT imaging.
- Proven experience in performing X-ray and CT procedures, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of radiological technologies and safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
